Corralejo's winter (Dec–Feb): air 16–22°C, sea 18–19°C, sun hours 6–7 daily, rain days 2–3 per month. Compare Málaga: air 12–18°C, sea 16°C, rain days 5–7. Lanzarote and Gran Canaria are similar to Fuerteventura; mainland Spain doesn't compete.
Who comes in winter
UK retirees, German digital nomads, Dutch families on Christmas break, Scandinavian sun-seekers. Less of a Spanish domestic crowd — Spanish visitors prefer summer. The vibe is calm and international.
What you can still do
Beach is comfortable in a 3/2mm wetsuit for surf. Lobos Island boat trips run all year. Dunes safari at sunset is magic. Kite season is moderate (better in summer). Restaurants and bars all open. Acua Water Park closes Nov–Feb.
How to book
Aim for January or February — January has the best deals after the New Year peak. December 23–January 6 is the most expensive 2 weeks of the year. October–November and March are the secret bargain months: prices are 30% lower with the same weather as deep winter.
