How to get there: the practical bit

Three ferry operators run between Corralejo and Lobos: Naviera Nortour, Líneas Marítimas Romero and Carmen Cabrera. Tickets cost €18–25 round-trip in 2026. The 9am departure beats the heat; the 4pm return has the best light.

Reserve in advance — the island has a daily visitor cap of 700. Online booking opens 30 days before. In summer it sells out same-day.

What to do once you're there

Three things define the Lobos experience: the crater walk (90 minutes round trip, 360° views from 127m), the lagoons at Playa de la Concha (snorkel paradise, knee-deep turquoise water), and lunch at the only restaurant, Antoñito el Farero — book ahead or expect a wait.

What to bring

Sun cream (no shade), 1.5L of water minimum, swim gear, water shoes for the rocks. The crater hike needs proper footwear, not flip-flops. The visitor center sells permits and gives free maps.
